Daniel in Year 4 made a delicious pizza
Cameron in Year 6 has written a fantastic short story extract.
Rudy in Year 3 did a fabulous job in completing Mrs Hardy's Narnia project that she set last week. The children had to think of their own imaginary world beyond the wardrobe.
The pupils in school have been creating a PowerPoint on a subject of their choice. Tomorrow, they will be presenting them to the group.
Sybil in Year 6 has been working extremely hard with her writing.
Eliza in Year 3 has made a picture for her bedroom.
Milly in Year 4 made a VE Day booklet. She included facts, recipes and a poem she wrote herself. They celebrated with a tea party and decorated the house with homemade bunting.
Grace in Year 4 had a lovely VE Day. She went through her Great Grandad’s scrap book, who was a POW. She baked a Victoria sponge and scones and had a little tea party.

Week 5
Feng in Year 5 has made excellent progress over the last 6 weeks
Nyah in Year 5 made a delicious meal from scratch for her family: salmon in pesto with green beans and rice.
Tamsin and Harry have been doing lots of walking, bike rides and Tamsin has been completing her karate lessons via Zoom. The children have also camped in their garden!

Thurston worked together with his family to make this robot out of recycled items they already had at home. He had all the ideas for the beard, ears, earring and buttons. He enjoyed learning how to use a glue gun safely too,

Nyah in Year 5 found a great facebook page for West Stow and printed off some sheets. They do a different activity most days and they're holding out for a virtual tour. Nyah wrote her family's names out using the Runic alphabet.

Elyza in Year 3 found an unusual insect in the garden so she decided to do a fact sheet about it and found it it was a Bee-Fly and is quite uncommon. She then found that there is a Bee-Fly watch 2020 online so she has logged her sighting.
Nyah in Year 5 has been learning about VE Day. She used her dad's shirt and made some bunting as she thought people just coming out of the war would use old material scraps. Nyah also rang her Nana and grandad to speak to them about their experiences as they were 6 and 10 when the celebrations were happening. They also attended Springfield Juniors so makes it all the more special. Nyah will be writing up a newspaper report including their experiences.

Not only that, they've also learnt some very important life skills: what to say to the emergency services if you have to call them and how to put someone in the recovery position. What a great idea!
