We recognise her enduring public service to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and to her other realms and territories and will observe the mourning period alongside our pupils, families and staff.
Our schools will close for a Bank Holiday on Monday the 19th September for the Queen's funeral. Aside from that, school hours will continue as normal.
Within our schools, we will teach pupils about the historical significance of the legacy of Queen Elizabeth and help pupils understand the historic moment we are in.
