Westminster Briefing, London

Connected Teaching School Alliance, Bury
The Academies Show, London
The National Pupil Premium Conference, London
Discovery Teaching School Alliance, Huntingdon

Bespoke Pupil Premium Reviews
We offer Bespoke Pupil Premium Reviews, led by Daniel Jones. Daniel is responsible for the use of Pupil Premium at Springfield Junior School and successfully wrote the bid that won the National Pupil Premium Award for Springfield Juniors in 2017. He became an accredited Pupil Premium reviewer under the National College for Teaching and Leadership in October 2016. We also run a free Pupil Premium Forum each term. Please contact TSA@springfieldjuniors.net for more information.

Our Pupil Premium Funding
Springfield Junior School receives a Pupil Premium Grant for each child who is entitled to receive Free School Meals or who has been entitled to over the last six years, and for any ‘Looked After Children’. We publish online information about how we have used the premium.

We aim for every single one of our pupil premium funded children to reach at least national expectations in all areas. We aim for group to achieve above the level at which all non-disadvantaged pupils nationally achieve and we achieve this goal consistently. We also want the attendance of our pupil premium funded children to exceed the attendance of all non-disadvantaged pupils nationally.
We have largely targeted our additional pupil premium funding on:
  • Ensuring we provide first rate quality teaching
  • Targeted intervention where necessary
  • Pastoral care
  • Enriching experiences
