Although we have not been able to run our normal clubs and take part in lots of events this year, we have endeavoured to provide the children with as many opportunities as possible to participate in sporting events. As part of the School Games family we have been involved in several inter-school virtual events: basketball, cricket, football, Sportshall athletics, multi-skills and skipping. Emily from Ipswich Sports Centre has continued to work with our Years 4 and 5 children teaching Squash lessons in PE curriculum time. Premier Education have provided lunchtime activities and lessons throughout the year. We purchased two ActivAll boards which the children have loved using to play and compete on. All year groups were able to participate in House Sports Afternoons. The overall House winners were Britten. Congratulations to them! Next year, we are very much looking forward to being able to begin our sports clubs again and participate in many more events.
