We are working with all families of pupils with EHCP, and those classes as vulnerable to ensure that they are happy about the ongoing provision for their child. Regular communication from school means that this provision can be adapted as required. As such we have a mix of families accessing full in school learning, a mix of both or full remote learning - each decision is taken on the individual needs of the pupil and their family. Teachers and support staff are regularly contacting our families of pupils with SEND to offer support. If you are concerned about your child's progress during this period of lockdown and would like to discuss additional support, please contact Mrs Everitt or Mrs Romer-Lee at email@example.com

At Springfield Juniors, we believe that all pupils should be respected and valued. We strive hard to ensure that all pupils:
Have a wide and balanced curriculum which is differentiated to meet individual needs;
Can learn and make progress according to their individual development trends;
Are assessed using appropriate tools and guidelines;
Have equal access to resources, provision and intervention as needed.
All teachers at Springfield Juniors are teachers of SEND pupils and as such provide high quality teaching which takes account of the particular individual needs of pupils with SEND within the classroom.
Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator or SENDCo is Mrs Everitt supported by Mrs Romer-Lee. If you have any concerns about your child’s learning, please speak to your child’s class teacher or make an appointment with the SENDCo via the school office or email firstname.lastname@example.org
