Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Salary per annum: £24,414 - £24,796 (pro rata) Grade 2 point 2 – Grade 2 point 4
1 post for 16.5 hours per week (9am–3pm Wednesday – Friday with 30 minutes for lunch)
38 weeks a year (term time only)
Start date: As soon as possible
Job Type: Fixed Term until 31 st August 2026

Springfield Junior School is part of the Children’s Endeavour Trust which totals eight schools across Stowmarket and Ipswich. Springfield is a popular junior school to the west of the town centre teaching children from ages 7 to 11. This is a three-form entry school with strong community support, a supportive and hardworking staff team, as well as friendly and welcoming children. The successful candidate will:

• Have an understanding of working in a primary school setting
• Have an understanding of classroom management working under the direction of the class teacher/SENCO
• Have a positive and self-driven desire to enable all pupils to be successful 
• Be able to model excellent communication and liaise closely with teachers
