Job Title: KS2 Class Teacher
Salary per annum: MPR £32,916- £45,352 FTE

Springfield Junior School is part of the Children’s Endeavour Trust which totals eight schools across Stowmarket and Ipswich. This is an exciting time to join our Trust as the schools work collaboratively together to achieve excellence and improve outcomes for our children. Springfield is a popular junior school to the west of the town centre teaching children from age 7 to 11. This is a three-form entry school with strong community support, a supportive and hardworking staff team as well as friendly and welcoming children. We deliver an ambitious and rigorous curriculum through CUSP as well as being an OPAL school to develop the quality of outdoor play. We were recently graded ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted (March 2025). We are now looking for a dynamic and motivated team player to join our friendly school.

Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: £28,142 - £33,699 FTE
Hours: 35 hours (8.30am – 4 pm), 38 weeks per year
Contract: Permanent
PPA or Subject Release Cover:
The HLTA under the professional direction and supervision of the class teacher/subject leader will:
- plan, prepare and deliver lessons across the school.
- mark and assess learning in line with school feedback, marking and assessment procedures
- record and report on effort, progress and attainment to class teachers/subject leaders
- ensure good behaviour of the pupils, following the schools’ expectations and policy.
- Follow school procedures for collection of pupils at the end of the school day.
Your responsibilities:
PPA cover, cover for staff absence, delivering interventions and additional classroom support.
