On Monday 23rd June 2025, world class athlete Courtney Tulloch visited Springfield Junior School.

This visit started with a whole school assembly where Courtney shared a bit about himself, his life growing up and how he got into gymnastics. He showed the pupils some videos of his medal-winning routines and even demonstrated some skills in our school hall. The children particularly loved seeing him dive over four of our teachers! 

After all the excitement, Courtney then put our pupils through their paces by running a rotation of fitness circuits for each class. It was an exciting, inspiring and energetic way to start the week. 

The school would like to thank Courtney for visiting as well as Miss Mower, the Springfield PE lead, for organising this brilliant event!
