On the last Friday of every month, the pupils experience an apprenticeship afternoon.
This is where pupils have the opportunity to work with, and collaborate with pupils from across the
year groups to learn skills and gain knowledge that is different from the normal curriculum.
These apprenticeships are run by visitors who are experts in different fields, and by TAs and teachers, who get to share their own experience, skills and knowledge in an area that interests them.
This is the 3rd year that we have run clubs of this type, and we have found that pupils enjoy these immensely.
Clubs include: first aid, magic, puppetry, touch typing, cooking, map skills, problem solving, jewellery making, science and samba to name a few.
