Relief Support Assistant (Working days may vary) Salary: Grade 3 – 5 Hours: 9am – 3pm
We are seeking to appoint a new team member to join our staff team. The post of Relief Support Assistant involves working with students in the classroom and supporting our teaching staff with a range of tasks.
The successful candidate will be someone who is naturally comfortable in the presence of young people and strives to encourage the students to make the most of each day. They will thrive on new challenges and be adaptable in order to work effectively with a range of staff and pupils across the school.
Previous experience of working with students, particularly at Key Stages 2, is desirable although full training and induction will be provided. We request that applicants have qualifications in English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent. The essential qualities are an individual who can stay calm and patient, has the ability to respond quickly and professionally at all times, is resilience and has a positive outlook and enjoys a good rapport with students to encourage them to succeed and learn.
