Online Safety Squad

Pupils from years 3-6 make up our Online Safety Squad. The squad meets regularly to share information and strategies across the school relating to Online Safety. They have recently made a film.

Online Safety and Safer Internet Day

Tuesday 7th February was Safer Internet Day. To mark this day, all the pupils had an online safety lesson and also completed a survey. The survey was designed to provide us with information about how pupils use the internet. We use them to plan our teaching of online safety in future.

Tea Afternoons

Online Safety Squad have led presentations at 4 tea afternoons and spoken to 200 parents about online safety.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Did you know?

Many apps allow children to share themselves recreating music videos. These apps contain in-app purchases and can result in children being exposed to swearing and sexual content. They also allow the sharing of their own videos and it is important that the correct settings are chosen so that these are not shared publicly.
